It’s Celtic New Year. For me, November is a time to pause, take stock, to rest. The weeks between the 31st of October and the 21st December feel solemn and brooding, I notice birds and animals becoming rarer and quieter, the trees lose their leaves and sleep, plants draw down into the earth and rest until the Spring.
It is, for me, a time to be aware of and nurture connection, be it with myself, with others, or with the wider world. Connection is at the core of our lives and at the centre of my work. How can I foster this connection in the coming weeks, when much of the UK looks like it may again be entering a lockdown?
Thankfully, we have the technology that allows us to communicate virtually. So I shall use it, I am also going to work further on bespoke enrichment packages which can be sent out in the post, each parcel made up individually with care, thought and love. I wonder how others are fostering connection?
If you would like to get in touch with me, please do, I’d love to hear from you.
